After completing her Master of Arts in Yoga Studies at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, Amy published her thesis, A Year in Yoga: Science and Practice of Trauma Informed Mindfulness in 2016. Amy owned a yoga studio and wellness center near Sarasota, Florida for four years, offering integrative healing classes, trainings and community events from November 2016 to June 2020.

Through In Yoga Collective, Amy develops customized programs for schools, non-profits and healthcare centers. She also facilitates online and in-person classes and trainings for practitioners emphasizing nervous system regulation for somatic and systemic healing through the online community, Four Paths Yoga. Amy plans to release her second book, “Ten Years in Yoga,” as a compilation of essays throughout her journey, in Summer 2025.
